The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (54)
I watched and reviewed this show as it came out in 2021.
Where WandaVision succeeded at revitalizing the MCU, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier did not. This TV show felt like a 6 hour movie with storylines that were needlessly stretched out, uninteresting character dynamics, practically non-existent thematic exploration, and a boring main villain that never caught my attention. Had this been refined into a 2 hour movie, I'm sure it would be a better experience. Because as it stands, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier doesn't do anything well enough to justify making it into a TV show, and it did not do a good job of advertising the Disney+ MCU TV shows.
